The Golf Tiger Woods superstar is expected to return to the action on Tuesday in its TGL Simulator league, its first competition since the death of its mother on February 4.
TGL published the team lists for the four games next week on X Saturday, with Woods head of the Jupiter Links Golf Club range to face the New York Golf Club at the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The 15 times major champion announced on February 4 that her mother, Kultida Woods, died at the age of 80.
A few days later, he announced his intention to play the Genesis Invitational, the Elite US PGA Tour event which he is organizing which is playing this week in Torrey Pines near San Diego.
But Woods withdrew from the field on Monday, saying he was “simply not ready”.
“I did my best to prepare myself, knowing that this is what my mother wanted, but I always deal with her loss,” Woods said in a press release on X.
Woods has not played high -end golf since he missed the cup at the championship opened last July.
His latest non-Major US PGA Tour event was Genesis Invitational from last year, where he retired because of the disease.
After finishing 60th at the Masters, he missed the cup in the three remaining majors last season and suffered an operation in September.
He played alongside his teenage son Charlie at the family event of the PNC championship in December and has already participated in TGL, the high -tech league that he launched this year with Rory McILroy.
His mother was in the Sofi Center stands in his last TGL match, obtaining a cry from him during the contest.
