Japan will play outside the matches against Ireland, Wales and Georgia in November, his head coach Eddie Jones announced on Wednesday as “a life visit”.

The Jones teams should face Ireland in Dublin on November 8 before taking Wales in Cardiff and in Georgia in a place that should not be decided in the country on successive weekends.

Japan also has home matches against Wales and Australia this year and Jones said that the European tour would be “a suitable means for the team to finish the year”.

“Regarding their work rate in attack, Ireland is the most coherent team in the world and their defense is a world class,” he said in a statement.

“Playing Wales in Cardiff is one of the great experiences of world rugby – nestled in the center of the city, the atmosphere is undoubtedly the best in the world.

“Meanwhile, Georgia is by far the most improved team in the world – historically, strong attackers are now helped by increasingly adventurous and qualified backs.

“It will be an appropriate way for the team to end the year with what will be a life visit,” he added.

Jones made a disappointing start since his return for his second passage as a Japan coach in January of last year.

His team suffered heavy defeats against England, France and New Zealand, and won four and lost seven of its in charge.

The next Japan matches are a pair of ground floor tests against Wales in July.
