The deputy coach of Wales, Rob Howley, will not be one of the team’s background staff for the rest of the six nations after the departure of head coach Warren Gatland, announced on Thursday the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).
Gatland’s second fate as Boss in Wales ended earlier this week with “Mutual Award” after a record of 14 consecutive defeats.
Cardiff coach Matt Sherratt is temporary for the three remaining games of the Six Nations team against the Favourites Ireland, Scotland and England.
The former Mullery half Howley, who remains under contract, was a trainer pillar during the first visit to Gatland in charge of Wales, which included Three Six Nations Grand Slam and two semi-finals of the Cup of the Cup .
But, hampered by the pensions of senior players and in the context of a financial crisis in the Welsh match, Gatland won only six out of 26 tests during his second fate.
Wales, which ended at the bottom of the six nations last year with five defeats, is on the right track for another humiliating whitening this year after a 43-0 defeat of 43-0 against France and a defeat of 22-15 against Italy in Rome.
Sherratt called for three players before Wales’ match against Ireland, binding for a third consecutive title in the Six Nations, in Cardiff on February 22.
Gloucester supports Gareth Anscombe and Max Llewellyn, the surprise omissions of the Gatland team, are now back in the lap with the former Harrod Evans of Cardiff Fly Evans by Car Lequins.
Sherratt will be without 93 times the rear cereed to Liam Williams and the Owen Watkin center due to injuries.
