Lee Jarvis says “it’s horrible” while he defends Ben Thomas for “Haine”

The former international rugby player in Wales, Lee Jarvis, said to defend Ben Thomas, who was criticized for his performances in the middle of Wales. Jarvis went to social networks to emphasize that Thomas is mainly a center and should not be blamed for playing out of position.

He also condemned part of the negativity he saw against Cardiff’s rugby player, describing him as “horrible”. Writing on X (formerly Twitter), Jarvis said: “Ben Thomas gets a lot of hatred for his performances at 10 playing for Wales. He does not like 10. His position center. “He plays the center 99% of the time. It is not his fault, and all the abuses are horrible. As a person, he is one of the nicer and most honest young people.”

Thomas, 26, was a key player for Cardiff Rugby, mainly as an indoor center, but sometimes covering half of the fly if necessary. He impressed in the Jersey of Cardiff RFC, winning the prize for the best newcomer in 2018/19 and appeared in the jersey 10, 12 and 15 in Cardiff.

He also won his first international ceiling against Canada in the summer of 2021 and was also included for the next fall campaign. But recently, he received criticism when he entered the role number 10.

Cardiff’s head coach Matt Sheratt said the end of 2024: “I am satisfied with the way Ben has progressed in the past two years and he is now a coherent and mature artist for us,” reported The BBC Wales. Ben also added: “We have a good group and I think we can build to achieve something special together in the coming years.

“The style of play is suitable for my own game and I think it takes the best game as an individual and collectively in a group.”
